Barrett Johnston Martin & Garrison partner and former U.S. Attorney, Jerry Martin, has joined with 62 other Obama-era U.S. attorneys to call for national police reforms in the wake of George Floyd’s death and the conversation around police brutality. They support the Justice in Policing Act of 2020 which improves police accountability and calls for certain practices, like chokeholds, to be outlawed.
